Smoking. Without The Smoke.

Do you smoke? Do you know someone who smokes? If you answered yes to either of these questions, read on.

First I’ll mention Dissfunktional does not endorse smoking or anything else; neither does the dog or the goldfish. We aren’t selling anything. We don’t sell anything ever at Dissfunktional. Unless you need fertilizer; the dog says he’s offering his home-made fertilizer if anyone needs dog-made fertilizer for their spring flowers.

Now that that is out of the way…

If you’re a smoker that lives among others who do not smoke, or worse yet… you live with children; what if I told you I knew of a way to get your fix, indoors, that is not dangerous or uncomfortable to those around you?

If you reside in an area where it is illegal to smoke indoors, the same solution that applies for the above, is also legal in most places indoors, including the workplace.

If you’re a non-smoker but live with someone who smokes, wouldn’t it be nice to not have that second-hand smoke around every time that cigarette lit up?

No, it’s not gum. It’s not a way to quit (I don’t think, though that’s a possibility due to the various strengths available). I’m not preaching here. Smoking is your business.

It’s smoking, the real deal. You must be of legal age to obtain it.

Gamucci Electronic Cigarette, aka the E-Cigarette

The Gamucci Electronic Cigarette does not produce second-hand smoke to others nor does it cause harm to the environment. It doesn’t need to be lit and therefore there is no fire risk.

This sounds like it might even be useful for an elderly or otherwise disabled person that you fear might burn the house down shortly with their smoking, too.

Gamucci is a rechargeable electronic cigarette. It is a non-flammable product that uses micro-electronic technology to provide users with a real smoking experience without the tobacco and tar found in real cigarettes. It looks like, feels like and tastes like a real cigarette, yet it isn’t.

Unlike nicotine gum or the nicotine patch, the e-cigarette actually functions much like a regular cigarette. However rather than burning and smoking, it vaporizes. The nicotine is still delivered, but in vapour form, rather than smoke which contains all the cancer causing toxins.

The Gamucci does not release harmful smoke but rather condensation so it can be used in public areas, restaurants and offices where smoking is otherwise prohibited.

The product is free from tar and carcinogenic substances harmful to the human body

It is non-flammable and doesn’t contain the danger of over 4,000 chemical substances entering the body, like tobacco

It is harmless to others and doesn’t cause any pollution to the environment normally caused by second-hand smoking

The nicotine content of each liquid container is equivalent to approximately 20 ordinary cigarettes

In Austria the e-cigarette is seen as a medical device and the nicotine cartridges are considered a medicinal product. This means that an e-cigarette needs to be CE-marked and the nicotine cartridges must be registered as medicinal products before they can be sold.

In the United Kingdom, electronic cigarette use is currently unrestricted, with celebrity nightclub Chinawhite allowing use of the devices indoors, where traditional cigarette smoking is prohibited.

In The Netherlands the use of the e-cigarette is allowed but advertizing the electronic cigarette is forbidden as long as no European legislation or guideline exists.
