Offer Email Updates To Your Readers On WordPress.COM
Many bloggers often ask the question “How can I offer email updates to my readers?”
Bloggers on WordPress.com are limited in the applications they can use, however options do exist.
One of the options I provide my readers is called “RSSFWD”.
After they subscribe, whenever a new article appears on “dissfunktional.wordpress.com” the new content will be emailed to them via RSSFWD.![]()
RSSFWD neither lists nor sells the emails entered there. My readers are able to subscribe to my blog, however their email address is kept private. I do not know the email addresses of anyone who has subscribed to my blog.
At the footer of each email they receive, there will be hassle-free links for them to unsubscribe or manage their subscriptions.
How To Use Rssfwd On Your WordPress.Com Blog
There are many ways you can set this up, such as using a text widget, and linking the URL you just copied from your browser to an image.
Another is to:
You can Even Place It With Your Blog Posts!

Feedburner is pretty uselful i guess. that’s what i have on my blog anyway. btw about the suicide bomber lady, yeah that’s the same one. I didn’t wanna make the gender obvious, kinda wanted it to be unisexual.
ohh… edit my comment!
nice nice
really thanks
very uselful
You’re welcome Decks!
Snx for you job!
It has very much helped me!
Feedburner didn’t work for me, because I have a feed over 512 kb… so I found this one easier and very, very useful. Right now I tried it suscribing myself to see how it works and ensure my blog readers will spend a nice time receiving updates of everything I write on my blog…
Thank you so much for sharing this!
You’re quite welcome Selene; I think you’ll really enjoy this one. Not only is it simple for your readers to use, what they receive is quite nice and neat. They have the option to remove themselves easily if they want to, their email address is never shared (even with you) and your readers won’t be spammed. I’ve really enjoyed their service and so far haven’t found any reason not to recommend it. Enjoy!
I already put it into my bloggie and I’m waiting for my readers to suscribe so they can have my post delivered right into their mail accounts.
What’s even better, protected posts won’t show up unless they go to my blog and type the password. That way I’m sure evil-minded readers and trolls won’t read what they shouldn’t read.
Thank you, again :), really.
Keep sharing good stuff for improving bloggers’ life quality
okay?
Selene.-
PS- If you know about a tagboard compatible with wordpress.com, please let me know–all the tags I’ve tried are busted everytime I put the code in a text widget!
